In a bowl beat the eggs and the sugar with an electric whisk until a thick and foamy mixture is obtained.

Wash the strawberries, cut them into cubes and place them in a bowl with the juice of half a lemon.

Add the melted butter (in a bain-marie or in the microwave) and the milk to the egg and sugar mixture and mix.

Stir in the sifted flour, baking powder and starch and mix the ingredients well, stirring constantly with a whisk until the mixture is homogeneous and thick.
