Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and cover a pan with baking paper.
Peel and cut the pumpkin into 3 cm pieces and put it in a bowl. Transfer everything into the pan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pumpkin has softened. Leave aside to cool.
Blend the pumpkin, chickpeas, tahin, cumin and lemon juice in a food processor, until a smooth and homogeneous mixture is obtained. If the mixture is too thick, add 2 tablespoons of water at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
