What's more American than a nice pancake? Maybe with a bit of fresh fruit and maple syrup over ... Often, almost every morning, before I get up from the bed I imagine what will be my breakfast shortly. And so here I am tasting delicious pancakes, in a new vegan variant. No eggs, no milk, no butter and incredibly easy and fast! Vegan pancakes are prepared in less than 5 minutes! So what do you expect?
Add flour, powder yeast, sugar, salt, water and oil to a large bowl.
Mix the mixture with a whip, leaving lumps in the dough. In fact, stirring too much would result in flat and hard pancakes.
Heat a non-stick frying pan (or use a greased oil pan). When the pan is warm enough to pour over a batter of batter, creating a round shaped pancake.
Let it cook for about a couple of minutes until the surface of the pancake is well dry and bubbles will form on it. Using a spatula turn the pancake on the opposite side.
Let it boil for another two minutes. Once ready for vegan pancakes, decorate them with fresh fruit and maple syrup. Serve and savor the pancakes when they are still hot!
