preparation
step 1
To prepare the water cake, start sifting the flour with the baking powder in a bowl and set aside for a moment. In another bowl pour the honey and add the water at room temperature mixing well with a whisk.
step 2
Add the Vanillin sachet to water and honey. At this point also pour the seed oil and mix.
step 3
Now resume the sieved powders and add them, one spoon at a time, to the emulsion of water, honey and oil, always mixing well and continuously to avoid the formation of lumps.
step 4
At this point take the blueberries and flour lightly to avoid that they remain on the bottom of the cake during cooking. Mix them together with the dough.
step 5
Take a 24 cm diameter mold and line it with baking paper. Or, if you prefer, you can simply oil it and flour it with a little seed oil and a tablespoon of flour. When the mold is ready, pour the cake dough.
step 6
Bake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes, before churning out do the toothpick test: if it comes out clean and dry means that the cake is cooked properly. Remove the cake and let it cool.
step 7
Finally, transfer the cake onto a plate and garnish it with a sprinkling of powdered sugar. Your water cake is ready to be tasted!
