description
The black olives baked in Castelvetrano are used as an appetizer or as a snack along with meats and cheeses. They are excellent natural, but can also be tasted with oil, chilli pepper, garlic cloves, fennel seeds and citrus peel. They are also ideal for flavoring fish dishes or toasted in a pan accompanying them with homemade bread.
preparation
step 1
The brownies are very simple chocolate sweets of American origin. Cut the chocolate into pieces and let it melt in a bain-marie with the oil.
step 2
When it is melted add the cocoa and remove from the heat. Whip the eggs with the brown sugar, add the melted chocolate, the sifted flour, the pitted olives and a pinch of salt.
step 3
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Take a baking pan, place it on top of the parchment paper and butter it, pour the dough into the lined pan distributing it evenly.
step 4
Sprinkle with a little salt and bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool, then help yourself with a circular mold and make the shapes.
step 5
Meanwhile, over medium heat, melt the sugar in a saucepan with a thick bottom. When the sugar is browned add a teaspoon of salt and remove from the heat.
step 6
Pour the cream heated a few minutes in the microwave a little at a time. Uniform the mixture and if necessary cook for a few minutes over low heat. Allow to cool and accompany to the brownies.
step 7
Divide the circumferences into two parts, sprinkle with icing sugar, place with a spoon the salted caramel on a plate adding the Brownies vertically, add the black olives baked in Castelvetrano.
step 8
Decorate with grated chocolate and powdered sugar.
